Mission

Asas ’50 envisage to be a dynamic literary institution with a mission to infused literary arts into the lives of the masses and be the main literary movement in literary arts as it has been for the past 59 years.

Core Initiative: Literary Awareness Initiative (Celik Karya)

1. Promote literary awareness to schools and institutions of higher learning through a package comprising of workshops, competition, mentorship and publication.

2. Promote literary awareness to the nation by conducting the white Dot National short Stories and Poetry competition and the National Novel Writing Competition through a package comprising of workshops,

3. competition, mentorship and publication.

4. Promote literary awareness by exposing youth to regional events and developments such as seminars, meets, dialogue.

5. Promote literary awareness by increasing the number of both fiction and non-fiction publications.
